  • Wine philosophies:
The vine growing, the manual harvesting and the wine making process are conducted with a constant respect for our environment with care and rigor and with permanent quality objectives.

Oumsiyat noble wine is made mainly with grapes from vineyards cradled in a beautiful farm named “Bekaa Valley”, situated at an average altitude of 1000 meters between the Mount Lebanon to the west and the Anti-Lebanon Mountains to the east.

  • Vineyards:
Our Resource Vineyards cover an area of 178 hectares square. The introduction of new varieties of grapevines is still in progress and is done extensively in our vineyards.
  • Terroir:
Bekaa Valley vineyards are like a museum of rare and un-cloned vines.Terroir is a well-defined geographical area in which a human community builds, over its history, collective production knowledge based on the interactions between physical and biological environments (climates, soil,—-) and a set of human factors ( skills in the vineyard and the cellars, production rules,–).Terroir type is granular clayey calcareous soil with a ph around 8.2.Some other soils are pebby, sandy-clayey which ensures water retention and restriction regularly.
  • Climate:With such varied geology and geography, Bekaa Valley is highly suited to vine growing, the vines benefits from a heavy rains and snow in the winter, and from an exceptional amount of ideal sunshine and a hot dry climate in summer, cool nights compensate for the hot days. The regular mistral wind, which deters desease and promotes healthy growth. The Mediterranean climate helps the grapes ripen easily. The Vineyards particular location, with thermal amplitudes day / night up to over 20 degrees in summer, favors a slow and gradual maturation of the grapes for the beneficial aromatic complexity and freshness of wines.
  • Vineyards diversity:Oumsiyat wines are vinified from grape varieties: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, tempranillo, Arinarnoa, Cinsault, Grenache, Carignan, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, clairette, uniblanc, Obeidy
